A Weekend at Home

Making bread- yup, I'm in my workout clothes. The first rise is the perfect amount of time to squeeze in a workout!

David throwing pottery in the hobby shop

And playing video games (this is also a good shot of our living room, in case you were wondering what our apartments looked like)

The final count: 2 loaves of wheat bread, 8 pretzels and 14 fruit tarts, all made in our little kitchen.

Napping

Harley!

Our friends Gene, Sandra, Steve and Kate came over for dinner and a really fun word game

And then Sandra decided to organize our spice rack...

At the airport, waiting for the fligth to Kwaj

David shows off before the triathalon (he did the 1K swim)

And so does Al, who did the bike part of the triathalon (42K)

And there's David swimming...

...and coming out of the lagoon...

...Al takes off...

...A tired David relaxes after hearing that he cut 40 seconds off last years time!

Al doing his laps

Two tired but happy Rats, who placed 5th out of 17 teams (Sorry, I didn't get any pictures of Eric, who ran the 10K for the team)

Fresh fish! So many people fish that we get a lot of it for free. I believe this is about 50 dollars worth of yellow fin tuna.

And there it is, cut up for sashimi!
Another great weekend on Roi!
