Mom's Visit

The Cornthian II, nosing through the snow and fog

Mom and I in the galley

And us with the station and the Corinthian II behind us

My mom visited station last week! She was on a cruise vacation on the Corinthian II and they stopped at station for tours. I was able to give Mom a private tour around station and she stayed for dinner. I really enjoyed showing her where I live and work and introducing her to all my friends down here. It was a bit of a whirlwind, but I think she enjoyed it too. It was great to get to see her down here.

That is sooooo incredibly awesome! You are so lucky! I'm sure your mom loved it! And I'm sure you loved it too!

As you can imagine, I would have loved it if my Mom could have come and visited me there. My Mom would have been ECSTATIC! Instead my circumstances were quite the opposite. I have to admit a good bit of jealousy - but on the other hand, I am REALLY happy for you!!!!!!!

That would really be the icing on the cake if my parents could come see firsthand what it's all about down there. I'm glad you had such a great experience.
